Nick and I enjoyed a quiet morning at home (since Asher slept at Gigi and Poppys after our Hanukkah Celebration last night). We went to pick up Asher and decided to let him take his morning nap there. While he napped, nick enjoyed some quiet time in the empty house, while Sister and I ran a couple of errands.
When Asher woke up, he had lunch and we headed over to Mimis. (When he was eating lunch, we gave him a handful of shredded cheese. He took the cheese, rubbed it all over his chin and said Ho Ho...such a funny little boy.)
We got to Mimi's and Asher must have known that Christmas is just around the corner and that there is something to be excited about. He was wired and running all around Mimi's house. Its neat to see, even at this young age, that he knows something exciting is going on. Asher was also excited to give Mimi her special present that he made!
We went home and Asher took a nice long nap and woke up in the best mood! A quick bite to eat and then onto our Christmas eve traditions of opening 1 present (always christmas PJs) and digging through our stockings (a new tradition we started this year)
Asher stayed up later than usual, and once he was asleep, Nick and I put together his workbench from Santa. It was the first of many christmas eves acting as Santa's little elves...and we loved it!
Merry Christmas to All and to All a Goodnight!
