Hanukkah: Nights 2-5

It's been fun celebrating Hanukkah every night before dinner. Asher is starting to get the hang of lighting the candles and then getting a gift. Still not a master at the paper, but still so much fun to watch him and all of his expressions as he "opens" and then explores his new gift(s)!

Night 2
A package from uncle Rick and aunt Linda arrived, so Asher had more than just one gift to open.

Night 3
Aunt Sister was here to watch asher for the evening (so we could celebrate Nicks birthday). So again he had more than 1 gift to open.

He's thinking... a bath towel?  Come on Mom, I cant play with that...

This is the gift for the next night, but I told him, if he could open it by himself, it was all his.
He got the gift in his lap, but just couldnt break through the paper.

Night 4
His first night of only one present (oh poor baby). At least it was something fun and not like a hooded towel from the night before.

Night 5
Another night with only one Hanukkah present, but he got to open a couple of early Christmas gifts at Mimi's house and hisChristmas eve present from us.  ( see Christmas eve post)

Look who is helping light the candles
And notice who still has the aim and flame
I Love Sandra Boynton Books!
So far it's been fun celebrating Hanukkah each night and we still have three nights to go! Looking forward to night 7 for the annual Issenberg Hanukkah celebration!
