Mommy-Son Fun

Its been a while since we got Asher and Ryder together, and way too long since Lynz and I had time together.  Today, Nick was at the Falcons Game and Jack is out of town on business so we met up and took the kids to the Whole Hawg BBQ Festival at the Marietta Square.  Nick and I took Asher last year, and had a great time, plus all the festivals in the square never disappoint.

These two are just too cute together, and as they get older and actually talk to each other its hilarious to just listen.  I should have snapped a pic of both of them in their big boy car seats in Lyndseys car.  We had a great time!  We jumped in a bounce house (Asher is NOT a fan), listened to some live music, ate some junk, walked around, played on the train playground and smelt delicious smoked goodness in the air all afternoon.

These two are definitely their Daddy's Boys!  They were very entertained by the live music.  Asher was even tapping his leg to the beat!

 There were a lot of kids on the playground, so when Asher got crowded near the steering wheel of the train, he wanted to "drive" something else. Ryder on the other hand, had no problem being squashed in the train car with 7 other kids!

After a couple of hours, we went to get a bunch of BBQ from the different vendors, only to find that only 3 still had food.  We didnt want to wait in the crazy lines, so we grabbed a couple of Pork Sliders on the way out, and went out to dinner with the boys.  Luckily, we were among the only people in the restaurant cuz our little guys were worn out and might not have been the most well mannered pair. 

Lyndsey sent me this pic when she was driving home, and I sent her the next one in response.  By 7:15 both of our boys were in bed asleep!  MOMMY SUCCESS
