Butterfly Farm

Years and years of going to Aruba, and never have we visited the Butterfly Farm, until this year.  Sara and Jim when one afternoon, and came back so excited about it, that I wanted to bring Asher back the next day.  It was a beautiful tropical garden with hundreds of beautiful species of butterflies from around the world.  The farm has the eggs shipped in and the garden is teeming with caterpillars, that then turn into chrysalis and finally into a butterfly.  We went first thing in the morning, and even got to see some of the butterflies emerge from the chrysalis stage.

Asher was very observant and immediately noticed the butterflies flying around. He tried to reach out to them. When we would catch one he would want us to bring it closer so he could look and examine it and then he would want to reach out and touch them.   He probably would have wanted to eat them too if they had not fluttered off before he could grab it and get it in his mouth!   Another new and entertaining experience...for both of us!
