We introduced Asher to the pool this weekend! It was a brief dip just to see what he thought. He seemed impartial. He didn't cry or fuss but he also didn't show much excitement (not that he really shows much emotion quite yet.) We'll take the fact that he didn't cry or fuss to mean it was a great success. I took him in an eased him in starting with his toes. He cuddled up to me, but I think he actually liked the cool water (he is such a hot kid..he is always sweating) We had a pitcher of water prepared (non chlorinated) to pour on him after he got out of the water to be sure the chlorine didn't dry into his sensitive soft baby skin. We will take him in the pool again this weekend (and most every weekend following) and before you know it we will have a little fish on our hands!
