Denver- RIMS '14

Another year of RIMS, this year in Denver!  We went out on a Friday and came back on Thursday. We had a SUPER successful conference, a full house for our Happy Hour event and everyone was very complimentary of all the work that Jordan and I did to pull of such a smooth and successful conference. We had early mornings, full days, busy evenings and late nights...and aside from missing my boys, I had a great time!

We went big this year with a billboard right off the exit to get to the hotels downtown!

Its nice to be a VIP and to be greeted by snacks and wine in your room!

Another one of our big improvements this year!  Convention center signage!

Our Booth coming together...SLOWLY...but surely!

While waiting for Union labor to get the show on the road, we headed to the grocery store to stock our suite with food for our staff....and maybe a little gallon smashing too.

Finally!  The booth is finished.

Our booth was almost non stop the entire show! We had 4 demo stations and 2 video monitors and we had to hook up apple TV to the video monitors to turn them into 2 more demo stations!

We bought out Pizza Republica, a gourmet pizza restaurant, for the night for our Tuesday Happy Hour Event and we packed the house.  We had a goal of 125 attendees and we ended up with 270 people (not including our staff).  The best part about a restaurant buy out is special treatment for the party planners!  As the party died down, they brought Jordan and I in the back, slapped some aprons on us and let us make our own pizzas! (tossing the pizza in the air proves to be much harder than it looks)

The next morning was an EARLY one but at least it was a short day.  The show ended at 3, we packed up the booth, packed up our suite and had a leisurely night at Peaks restaurant on the 27th floor of our Hotel!  We even got to meet Ben Stein!

And then after 6 LONG days, we finally headed home to see our families!

Home Sweet Home.....with a souvenir T-shirt ;-)
