Ryder had his first birthday party this past weekend. The party was at the East Roswell Park and Spraygrounds. It was a HOT day and thank goodness for the splash pad or those poor little kiddos (and their parents) might not have made it. Lyndsey (Ryder's Mom) outdid herself with this party. There were a TON of people there and the entire Little Man / Mustache theme was carried throughout so well, even down to the drinking straws!

I know the day was all about Ryder, but I managed to snap some adorable pics of MY little man!
Once everyone had enough time to mingle, play and eat, we sang happy birthday to Ryder and let him get into his cake!
Now for the BEST part of the party!!
SPLASH PAD
This was Asher's first experience at the spray-grounds and to say that he LOVED IT would be an understatement. Most of Asher's little buddies were hanging around the mushroom that only sprayed water periodically, but after a couple of minutes, Asher was OFF. He was all over the place. Once the first drop of water touched him he was sucked in! He let go of the mushroom and walked all around, to all the different water features just getting SOAKED. Very rarely did he look around to make sure that Mommy or Daddy were around. It was a new independence that we have not seen from him out in public. At least all his independence gave me the opportunity to follow Asher around the spray grounds like the mamarazzi, snapping pics every chance I could!
