Brunch Playdate

Its so sad that Eric has to come to town from San Francisco in order for me to commit to a plan with friends and their families.  As I've mentioned before, its difficult (for me to commit) on the weekends (or any other time really) because there is so much stuff that we want to do around the house, errands that we have to run, groceries that have to get bought and time we want to spend together as a family.   So although we don't make plans often, when we do, I am always happy afterwards and look forward to the next time.

This morning Carly & Adam (Hudson's parents) had us all over for brunch and a playdate.  They just refinished their basement and it is the perfect setting for the adults to hang out and the kids to play.  It was fun catching up with old college friends and watching all the kiddos play.  All the boys are just within a couple of months of each other.  Hudson (14 mo) in the oldest, followed by Asher (11 mo), then Jordan (8.5 mo) and Ryder (8mo).  Even though none of these boys are talking yet, it is so neat to see each of their personalities.  Sometimes it really is surreal to sit back and think about where we all were 6-7 years ago and how different our lives are today.

I snapped a couple of pictures in between eating, talking, laughing and playing.  Please excuse my pants-less child.  His pants got a little wet during lunch so I tossed them in the dryer.

Its always more fun to play with other peoples toys.
Asher used Hudsons walker and walked across the room all by himself

And then fell down

And tried to get back up...

Jordan is on the move!

All the kiddos (and Nick).
Hallie (Jordans big sister) is  3.5 years old and played so nicely with the little ones

Love this kid!
