SHOWER PAN

Wendi was out of town in Ohio, and Nick took the day off so that peter could come and install the custom shower pan. Peter was supposed to show up between noon and two, but couldn’t make it until 4pm. While Nick was waiting, he finished up with the remaining concrete board on the floor of the shower. When Peter showed up, the first thing he did was install the lip for the shower, followed by installing the plastic membrane for the shower pan which will prevent any water from leaking. Next step was the concrete. Peter mixed up all the concrete by hand because he said he saw the Mexicans do it and it turns out to be a better consistency. With skill and precision, he then put the concrete in the pan, smoothed it out and angled it just right so that the water leads directly to the drain. Voila! Peter was finished by 7pm and advised us not to touch it for at least a day. The finished product looks so perfect, that it’s hard to believe it was made by a human. Thanks Peter!
