Gulf Shores - The Pass

Leading up to the trip Kris kept talking about taking us to the lagoon, or "The Pass" as the locals call it.  He said everyone takes their boats over and just hangs out.  Sounded like fun, so we were in. I expected it to be something like Cocktail Cove at Lake Lanier, but it was SO MUCH BETTER! The water was ankle deep, we had chairs sitting in the water, lots of drinks and food and snacks, the kids could walk swim around (without much worry from the parents) and the weather was perfect!  We spent the day there and it blew away all of our expectations.  One of the best days ever!!

Not even 3 minutes back on the boat heading to shore did he pass out.
