This weekend we celebrated Nick's cousin Clay and his Bride, Amy's wedding! It was an intimate Saturday afternoon wedding with a beautiful fall theme! We left Asher with Gigi and Poppy and enjoyed ourselves catching up with all of the family that came in town from Macon! It was a nice change of things for Nick and I to be out on a Saturday afternoon without the baby, and though we missed him and our weekend time together, it was nice to have some grown up time too!

Sunday morning we headed over to Mimi's house for breakfast. Everyone was so excited to see Asher, and it was sweet to see him interact with everyone, once he got over his initial shyness. The entire afternoon was spent with all eyes on Asher! He got a hold of the iphone which I wish he had not. With the iphone in hand, Asher just tunes out the world around him. I wanted him to show off all of his animal sounds and showing his head, shoulders, knees and toes...but the iphone won. He still managed to give some snuggles and when it came time for the family to leave, he was great about waving, saying bye-bye and giving lots of open mouth kisses!
