Fun fall weekend

We had a great fun fall family weekend, full of excitement and now I can feel a bad case of the Monday's creeping....

Early Saturday morning we hung around the house and chilled before we went to Chick-Fil-A for  Asher and I to have our first experience at the dwarf house! Asher loved the dwarf door and threw a minor tantrum when we finally made him leave.

Later Saturday afternoon we went out for lunch to our favorite mexican restaurant where, of course, Asher ate the entire bowl of guacamole.  After lunch we went next door to hobby town where Asher played with the train table, got to ring the train bell, had a special demonstration of Percy on the track and shopped around the store with his mini shopping cart!

That evening we had a playdate at the Arnold's! Nick and I can not get over how Asher interacts with other kids since he started going to Esther's. We are thrilled that he no longer goes running in the other direction when another kid heads his way, and even how he will now approach other kids too!

Today after Asher's morning nap (and a snuggle with Daddy), we headed down to the candler park fall festival and met aunt Dimi, unky Jim jim and cousin mark. The weather was beautiful and the festival was not crowded at all. There were tons of vendors, live music and even a kids area complete with a lowes building area!  Asher loved being able to run around, push the stroller around and play with all the dogs at the park.  We were all having such a good time that we decided to stay and just skip Asher's afternoon nap.  He rallied the whole time we were there and was such a good boy in the car on the way home...Im sure it helped that Cousin Mark was in the backseat and he had an iphone to play with!

Weekends like these make me dread Monday morning.
