Wednesdays & Peyton (Melissa too!)

I posted over the weekend that our Wednesday routine is changing from Bennett's house to Peyton's house. We spent the afternoon with Peyton and Melissa on Saturday, just to get him reacquainted with them and their house. We had a great afternoon and by the time we were finished with lunch Asher warmed up to Peyton very nicely. In the past he was a little put off by her aggressiveness, but as he has gotten older, it seems as if he has acquired a little bit more tolerance and patience for her! Here are a bunch of pics from our Saturday.
Dont worry, Asher will nap in the pack and play by himself ,
but it was too cute to not put them in there together for a photo opp!

Fast forward to Wednesday. The drop off this morning could not have gone better. It was the best drop off in the history of drop offs!  Asher walked into the house, let go of my hand and immediately ran straight to Peytons play kitchen. I went over a couple of last-minute details with Melissa, gave Asher a hug and a kiss and walked out the door. He didn't squeal, whine, reach for me, or cry the least bit... I was so relieved.

Of course Melissa was fantastic about keeping me updated and sending me pictures throughout the day.  He went down for both of his naps without a problem (Melissa even had to wake him up both times because his naps we so long),  he had a great lunch and was a well-behaved boy all day! I could not have asked for a smoother transition into our new Wednesday routine. Thanks Melissa and thank you Asher!

Here are all the pics ingot through the day!

This has got to be one of my favorites!  These two in the exact same spot that we positioned them just under 2 years ago...where has the time gone?!
Just relaxing before naptime.
It was a beautiful day, and the Arnold's have a great big back yard, so after lunch they spent a good bit of time playing outside in the yard, on the play set, and in Nathans green house!
High Five!
By the end of the day it appears that Asher not only was tolerant of Peyton's aggressiveness  but was actually enjoying it.  Look at that smile!
