Now, he holds his head up 97% of the time (except when he is tired, then he gets lazy), he holds his head up and pushes up during tummy time, smiles all the time, he is great in the car and even falls asleep on longer excursions, he actually jumps in his jumper and plays with the attached toys and our nighttime routine has gotten substantially better.
Asher has really found his voice and talks to his toys (blue bird on the car seat has really kept him entertained in the car). Likewise he has also learned to use his voice when he wants our attention. He has developed this high pitched squeal that will continue if we don't give him attention. He is constantly drooling, blowing bubbles and imitating our "raspberry" noises.
At 4 Months Old Asher is....
- Wearing size 2 diapers
- Still wearing mostly 0-3 month clothes, and some 3 month depending on the brand
- Drinking a 6-8 oz bottle of formula at night (hopefully we will move back to breast milk and add rice cereal)
- Sleeping in PJ's and only half swaddled
- Sleeping from about 9-4 pm (up for a quick feeding, then back asleep till 8 or 9)
- Still taking 3 daytime naps (usually about 1 hr - 2 hours each)
- Holding onto toys (and bringing them to his mouth)
- Grabbing anything within his reach (not reaching quite yet)
- Clasping his hands together
- Laughing
- Drooling all the time
- Blowing bubbles
- Making tons of sounds
- Kicking and opening his mouth when he gets excited
- Using his hands a lot more
- Starting to play with his toys
- Enjoying the Jumper and Exersaucer more
- Close to reaching
- Sitting in his bumpo for longer periods of time
- Still making us smile and laugh every day!
