Home Coming

We decided to stay one extra day at the hospital.  Although we were both ready to get home and start our adventures with our new little man, my body really did need the extra day, and now in retrospect we are glad that we took advantage of it.  We were discharged from the hospital around 12:30pm on Wednesday April 20th.  It was exciting to be wheeled out and see the sunshine, hear the birds chirping and watch Asher's little eyes squint because the sun was so bright. We got in the car, and headed home!  Asher was perfect and slept the whole way home.  We got home to find a home made wreath that sister made and a bunch of balloons on the front porch.  A (clean) refrigerator stocked full of food (courtesy of Mimi and Gigi) and a pantry overflowing with goodies!  Asher continued to sleep which allowed Nick and I to eat some lunch.  Once Asher woke up, we took him on the tour of his new home and showed him all of this new things!
