We waited till later in the day (after our arrival home) to introduce Linus and Asher. We had it all planned out. We didn't want to just come home with the baby and have Linus already at home. So we came home and got settled in, and then Matt and Robin showed up with Linus later that evening. We had Gigi and Mimi take Asher upstairs into his room for a little while which gave Nick and I some time to love on our puppy before the introduction. (keep in mind we had not seen Linus for about 6 days) Once Linus calmed down, we played fetch outside and he realized that he was back at home with us , it was time for him to meet the newest member of the family!
Everyone was outside and we brought Asher outside to meet his new big brother. Neither Asher nor Linus seemed to mind each other, but after about 5 minutes linus was ready to play again. We think that since we had both families over that Linus didn't quite realize that Asher was here to stay and that once everyone else left...Asher would still be here.
